We received good advice for our new puppy. Dr. Gallagher and his staff are excellent. Parking available. Also, received a starter bag and lots of email reminders and when to schedule vaccinations.

We have a new puppy. He is an 11 week old Dachshund. We brought him to Villanova vet when we picked him up, he was 8 weeks old at the time. Dr. Gallagher and his staff have been accepting new patients, but curbside appointments only. This means Albert was brought into the office by one of the Vet Techs and my husband and I waited in the car in the parking lot. As a new puppy parent this was not an ideal situation, as we are also new to this Vet practice. It could not have been a more exceptional experience. Dr. Gallagher came out to our car, facemask in place and gave us Albert's checkup overview. He (Dr. Gallagher) spent quite a bit of time explaining the series of puppy shots that our puppy would be requiring to prevent worms, bordatello, etc. He was very thorough and personable. We have been back for subsequent visits and each time his staff have been so friendly and make a fuss as we hand over our new bundle of joy. We have yet to be inside the office, but hope to, once the coronavirus restrictions are lifted. This is an unusual time and I have to say I felt very comfortable with how the Veterinarian and his staff are treating their patients and their parents. We are very happy with Dr. Gallagher and his staff. Professional and kind. They all make you feel as though your pet is the only one they care for. I would highly recommend. We had to change vets as we just moved to the area and we couldn't be happier with Dr. Gallagher, Andrienne, Dan and everyone else who cares for our Albert.

They take their time with your pet and answer all your questions. They provide all options but what I love the most is they tell me what they would do if it were their pet and they always keep cost in mind!

Everyone that works at Villanova Vet is outstanding. Since we switched vets, my husband and I have felt so supported and acknowledged. Our pup is always thoroughly evaluated, blood tests (or any other tests) are reviewed in detail with us, and all of our questions are always answered in the office or via phone calls. We can't say enough about the high quality and compassion that we receive from everyone at Villanova Vet. Thank you!

We initially had a GREAT first visit here last July - Dr. Gallagher was patient, not in a rush, enjoyed talking with us and really spent time and care.

Fast forward to a March vaccine visit and WOW the difference was stark! They couldn't have cared less about us, our dog, or the experience. We had some miscommunication when booking but don't go here if you expect any kind of respect if your dog is getting vaccinated. In their ideal world, you hand your dog off and don't get to be involved at all - who knows what they do back in the back (wouldn't be able to see any firsthand reaction, etc. to dispute if things went negatively). If you expect a greeting at the door with a hey how are you? NOPE it's more like here give me the dog - ok done - here where's your credit card (NO ITEMIZED BILL SHOWN AHEAD OF TIME!) - no respect, no care, no discussion on how he did, etc. It was VERY cold and very disrespectful. They claim this is always how they do their technician checks but as a newer patient they should have told us it's OK to come in the back - because when we asked they said yea you could have come in. Then when going back to drop off a sample they act like they can't be bothered to walk out of the house to greet you and that they have no time to discuss anything. Just received a call back about results and got a "ok its negative no follow up..mhmmm ok bye" with just absolutely the least amount of any customer service or care.

I just did not appreciate how we were treated - technician visit or not our baby (2 years old) was given vaccines and to hear him from the waiting room without being offered to join was really disheartening. Like I said our initial visit was great, not rushed, the vet is awesome but this last visit was like no one cared at all. We will not be returning.

I absolutely love Dr. Gallagher and his staff! They are so kind and funny and they are so amazing with our cat. Dr. Gallagher has given me the best advice on how to overcome some hurdles that happen when you have a young cat. He also gave me great advice on finding a rescue for a puppy. He is so gentile and caring and I am so glad that we found him. My kids love going to his office. They feel so comfortable with his treatment of their sweet kitty! If you are looking for a Vet that will care for and treat your pet with as much love and concern as you would, then Dr. Gallagher and his staff are the practice for you and your fur babies!

Incredible team! They instructed me to go to the emergency animal hospital when my previous vet said my pup was fine. These guys saved my dog!
