The women at True Society are the kindest, funniest, and most down to earth women I have ever met. Walking into this shop felt like walking into a bridal dream. The shop itself gives the ultimate “I am a bride, shopping for her dream dress, in a store surrounded by amazing gowns” feeling! The phenomenal stylists made me feel nothing but overwhelming joy about finding my dream wedding dress. Thank you so much to the amazing women at True Society in Lenexa! **I feel as though I do need to note, I did work at True Society when I purchased my gown. As someone who has been behind the scenes at this specific shop I can tell you with the utmost confidence that these women have your back. They are properly educated about their gowns and other products and they all go above and beyond for their brides. They genuinely care about you and the experience they provide to you and your guests. I cannot recommend True Society enough!!

I had such an awesome experience at True Society working with Alex. Alex was so easy to get a long with and knew exactly what she was doing. She was also training someone at the time who was so sweet as well. It truly was the best experience I could ask for. I’m glad I got to have my whole party as a part of the experience and True Society was happy to accommodate. We chose to do it up right with champagne, sparkling cider and dessert which was delicious. Go big ladies if you have the opportunity. I got to try on all the styles I was interested in and we stayed in my budget. There was no pressure and I felt so comfortable throughout the appointment. I found my dress and I couldn’t be more thankful.

I was so anxious about wedding dress shopping especially with this being my first time. Lucky for me, Sophia was beyond AMAZING!! She had a very calming demeanor and she really listened to what I wanted. They had a great selection within my budget and she allowed me to form my own opinion about each dress before showing the people I brought. I ended up finding a dress I absolutely LOVED, but I still had another appointment that day. She said they would cover the cancellation fee for the other shop if I had made my decision or she would make time for me to come back after my next appointment. I decided to go to the other shop just to see some more options and ended up feeling very defeated after that shop. I reluctantly decided to go back to True Society to try my favorite dress on just one more time to make sure my feelings were real. She had it completely ready with all the modifications I wanted and a veil when I got there. I put it back on and immediately started crying of joy! It was an emotional moment and my friends and family with me matched my reaction. She then brought us champagne to celebrate me saying “Yes to the dress!” Sophia also went above and beyond by giving me the cork of the champagne bottle with the date I bought my dress written on it. I truly appreciated her more than she can know! I HIGHLY recommend True Society but more specifically, Sophia! I can’t wait to feel my best when I marry my person!

I would recommend anyone looking for wedding dresses to go to true society! I went into my appointment having no idea what kind of style of dress I wanted. My stylist Sophia was the BEST! She was super sweet and made the experience super fun and great for me. Honestly every dress she picked out for me I liked! She was so attentive to everything I liked in every dress, and what I didn’t like. The dress I came out with was a style I totally did not expect me to get and Sophia helped me find that! She also found the perfect veil and dress topper to go with my dress for the ceremony!

BIG thanks to Sophia and true society for helping me find my dream dress! I can’t wait to wear it on my wedding day.

My experience at True Society in Lenexa was amazing. My wonderful stylist, Macy, helped me find my dream dress! I was able to try on as many dresses as my heart desired, and Macy was very kind with me as I was deciding between my top 2 dresses. She insisted that I could switch back and forth from my top 2 dresses as many times as I would need, and it wouldn't be an issue! This was super helpful in making my final decision. I really enjoyed my time at True Society, and highly recommend shopping here! Also, many of the other employees, like managers and other stylists, came to watch me say "Yes" to my dress, and they had smiles from ear to ear, it is clear that they love their jobs and love helping brides find their dream dress!

More than I could have ever asked for out of my bridal experience! Kelsey was a m a z i n g and made me feel so comfortable and beautiful even in the gowns I knew weren’t mine. She was so accommodating and listened to everything I said I did and didn’t like about each one. Thanks to her I found my perfect dress and could not be happier!
