I absolutely LOVE Townhouse Galleries. Wonderful furniture and even more wonderful people who deeply care about your desires. We recently got a Stressless chair from them and have not only LOVED the chair (we fight over who gets to use it) but we loved the experience of choosing the chair. Karen made sure we tried all of the options so we got the perfect chair for both of us. I couldn't recommend Townhouse more to anyone, and I'm thankful for the gift they are in Decatur.

I was in awe at the selections presented in this store. If your needs are custom chairs, tables and upholstery, this is a place to start. There were a few brands that were new to me, but they didn't fail my appetite for uniqueness. If you are a lover of all things untraditional, you will not be disappointed. This is the place for you.

Very nice displays of Stickley furniture.
Very helpful staff.
Good location, parking is a little tight on one side of building if you have a larger vehicle.
Furniture is displayed nicely and accessible, you can sit on the chairs and couches etc.
Stickley is not cheap furniture, but Town House offers discounts .
They also deliver for a small fee, even though our home is 40 miles away.
Free wifi, wheelchair accessible, bathroom available for customers.
A very nice place to buy fine furniture.

READ THE CONTRACT!
10/2/2021 we placed an order for two recliners. We put close to $3800 down and was told it would be six months (180 days) to deliver. During this time not one Townhouse Galleries employee called to update us on this incredibly long order until day 178 (today) of 180 to inform us the delivery time will extend another three months. Meantime a 3500 sq ft house was built next door to me.....A refund was declined by Townhouse Galleries, instead they issue a store credit. Seems our order is classified as a special order though unsure why. Special order rule is ignorance on our part though I feel this should have been heavily advertised. Lousy customer service definitely belongs to Townhouse Gallerie who are now holding our $3800 hostage.

Update:
Today is July 30, the last day of the additional three month timeline Townhouse Galleries requested above.
It's even worse this time because they actually called on July 18th (79 days into the additional 90 day timeline) to inform us the chairs have shipped (no idea from where... maybe the moon) and would deliver when the Madison Distribution Center received them. That call was to arrive last week. Of course no call and no chairs after placing the order nine months ago. The only part of this transaction that worked well was the ease at which Townhouse took our ~$3800 deposit (the take is a well oiled machine).

BE CAREFUL DOING BUSINESS HERE!

Stressless recliners were introduce to me by my son. Checked on internet for a store that sold stressless and the Huntsville store was on list. Visited store on a Sunday to purchase a chair. Rod was the salesman. Could not have ask for better service. Both gentlemen were very helpful.
Cannot wait to get my chair and enjoy it. Highly recommend the store if you are looking for great service and quality furniture.

Doug was very knowledgeable about Stressless chairs. He helped us choose the perfect color to coordinate with our current furniture. The business has a promotion when you donate to the North Alabama Food Bank.

Bought a very expensive Stickley Leopold Chair. Rarely used, it lost a tuck button in an area not subjected to direct contact. Disappointed that Stickley, touted for high quality, produced such a product and does not warranty its upholstery. Nonetheless Townhouse Galleries' owner told me they would fix it regardless of Stinkley's lack of warranty. Good place to do buiness!
