This is a horrible company my 92 year old dad about froze and starved to death this Christmas. He has been without gas 2 months. Thank God he has a grill and a portable heater. COME GET YOUR TANK NEVER AGIAN. Do not use this company this is a common practice with them. KARMA IS COMIN.

After multiple unresolved maintenance requests we terminated our services with Thompson. We always paid our bills in a timely manner. Yearly rent on the tank came due and I was hesitant about paying since maintenance requests were ignored. Thompson scheduled a maintenance date and as soon as I paid the yearly rent fee Thompson canceled the maintenance appointment.

I have bought washers,dryers,stoves,dishwasher, freezers, and refrigerators overs the years from South Alabama gas. I bought another dish washer a couple weeks ago from now Thompson Gas. I like to deal locale when possible. Today I called Thompson's to see about a new freezer at 9am and was told they would have someone call me . It is now 12 and no one has called me back. My business will be going elsewhere

I had just recently moved to Tibbie, AL. and your Chatom office is who I use. Back in late January or early Feb. 2018 I had tank filled I forgot when exactly. Well on Thursday that evening on Feb. 22. I smelled gas real strong outside at the tank it was showing 40% instead of the 80% I just have water & oven and issues with oven so not used it. Called and left message, within 15 min. someone called talked to son and told him he would be right out. I was shocked I expected Friday not to hear back for a while.
Within 30 min. the gentleman on call was pulling up to the house, found the leak and repaired it. And we even will be getting gas replacement for loss of gas.

Started with south Alabama gas yrs ago no problems I am on metered plan not suppose to run out of gas.Well Thompson gas meter reader has let me run out over the weekend couldn't get anyone on phone I have been out of gas sense Saturday an its 3an 1/2 days later still no gas.Have not even heard from them
