I could not find an Esquif Canyon canoe anywhere within 2 hours drive of West Atlanta until I called Brandon at The Canoe House. He is a great guy, and his store is really unique and well stocked with most anything you need for paddling and other outdoor gear. He is very knowledgeable and provides great service.

You won't go wrong choosing this store for your needs! The Canoe House in Rome Georgia is worth the drive.

Great locally owned outdoors gear shop. Great selection of outdoor goods ranging from canoes, fishing, hiking, camping, and clothing. Owner is nice and super helpful. He is a local and very knowledgeable about the area and took his time to help us find some outdoor activities in the area. Will definitely be back on our next visit!

Working with Brandon, the shop owner to find the right canoe for me has been an absolute pleasure! When picking up the canoe (Esquif Canyon), I was blown away by the amount of time and energy Brandon spent with me that day to make sure that I had the correct gear and had chosen the right canoe for what I am looking to do. There are fewer and fewer "mom and pop" outdoor stores in the US these days and The Canoe House is definitely one of them. I look forward to shopping here again!

I worked in the outdoor industry for 20 years as a backcountry guide, whitewater instructor, canyoneering, mountaineering instructor, etc... and frequently in outdoor retail. The Canoe House and specifically Brandon the owner is the real deal. He’s in this business for all the right reasons. No one gets rich selling canoes and outdoor gear, but at the end of the day this little shop will make sure you get what you need and want and you will have no regrets looking in the rear view mirror. If you live within 2 hours of Rome, GA, this is the spot! I promise you will not be disappointed. I sometimes shop at REI, but I DO NOT enjoy it! Other outfitters will try to up sell you and/or simply have no idea what they are on about. Brandon is a paddler and outdoorsy dude and he has helped me a ton, usually without me even buying anything! Super guy!! Support this local shop. (Mic drop)

We were in the event space in the back. It is absolutely lovely. Perfect for small gatherings. I really like the way it has indoor and outdoor space. It was decorated for Christmas and looked wonderful.

Second visit. The products were good quality and stood out. The host was fantastic with high energy and creativity. His counter / work bar beautifully made. I will shop again and so glad I introduced a friend. Buffalo/bison items I like!
