On the way back from Panama City Beach we discovered this treasure. Diverse menu with daily specials. I had the Grouper basket with side of okra. The frying technique was perfect for both. Light and crispy and not greasy. The included hush puppies were the best we’ve ever had. Everything was fresh and fast. We will come here again on our next trip. Don’t miss this local gem!

As I was driving back home to Tennessee from PCB, I I happened upon this adorable little café and gift shop. I needed to use the restroom anyway so I decided to stop. I wandered through the gift shop and decided to buy some local pecans- while I was paying, I saw that their special was fried grouper. Now, I am a self-professed grouper slut and cannot get enough of it. So I ordered it, of course, and had a very lovely conversation with one of the female employees whose name I, unfortunately, did not get while I was waiting on my fish.

I get in my car and I open up my box and get a bite of the fish with their homemade tartar sauce and y’all - that was some of the BEST fried grouper that I have ever had. It’s also some of the best tartar sauce that I have ever had. It’s not sweet. It’s very dill forward. In fact it has what looks like fresh dill, and big chunks of dill pickles cut up into it, but it is so good. It came with my choice of sides and I got the coleslaw and the homemade kettle chips and then it came with three little hush puppies that were absolutely delicious. The only thing that wasn’t my favorite was the coleslaw and that’s only because I’m not a big fan of red cabbage.

The best part about the whole meal is I got four pieces of fish that were huge plus the sides and even a drink and it was $13.99- I don’t know how they do it because I’ve got a cooler in my backseat full of grouper that I bought at $30 a pound!
don’t know if they have grouper every day but if you stop by and they’ve got it - I recommend that you get it. And I am so glad that I have another place to stop at when I go back down to Panama City Beach!

Such a new neat place! The customer service was excellent and so was the breakfast. Definitely recommend if you are in the area! Great people, great food!

We stopped here to pick up some pecans. We got spicey and chocolate covered pecans. We couldn't stop eating them. They also sold food, but we only got pecans because we were en route to PCB. May we'll try the food next time we pass through. The desserts in the display case looked delicious and they would have made a nice snack the next morning.

We were starving and are not from around here. We decided to give it a try and so glad we did!!!! My mom and I both got cheeseburgers, and she got bacon added. Shoe string fries and homemade potato chips!! It was soooo yummy. Highly recommend. The service was also wonderful, very very friendly staff.

Small diner atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice little mercantile shop & clean restrooms.
I got a Cobb salad with grilled chicken. Perhaps I came on an off day, but the chicken was really difficult to eat. Striving to be diplomatic here, it was very low quality. Nearly every bite was grisly or crunchy or fat. 2 of the 8 bites I made it through were actually edible meat. At 8 bites I just threw the chicken out and ate the salad.
The bacon was cooked perfectly.
Although the veggies were ripe and crisp, I could tell by the taste that none of their produce was organic. (Which is fine; I understand they do not claim to be organic. Just mentioning for patrons such as myself who try to eat mostly or exclusively organic).
It would’ve been a decent amount of food for the price, if the chicken had been of better quality. I honestly can’t remember ever having a cut of chicken from a restaurant be that grisly and fatty.
