Very cute boutique. My sister found a beautiful southwestern jacket that we both loved, so we each bought one! It will be the perfect Colorado jacket for colder weather. The sales associate that checked us out was cheerful, considerate and provided additional information about some jewelry I had been eyeing. I will be sure to return to Terra Verde!

I’m disappointed to be making this review but I feel it should be shared. I’ve patronized Terra Verde for 5-6 years now and have spent good money and always suggested it to others as my favorite go-to gift boutique. However, in the past my treatment has been slightly different than other patrons. Nothing crazy.…Just no warm welcome when I walk in the door, no one asking me if I need help as I look around, basically a cold shoulder. Not every time either, infrequently enough to not deter me entirely until now. Today was different though. I walked in on a beautiful Friday afternoon and the shop was not packed, but there were maybe 8-10 other shoppers. I perused for a few mins looking for a quick gift for a friend. Took mental note that 5 people were greeted in the 3 mins I was in the store, but not me. I made my way to the jewelry wall along the back right wall right next to the counter. I knelt down looking earrings and one of the staff, a small middle aged woman wearing a long skirt, whom I’ve seen many times, pushed past me, physically touching me pretty rudely….and still didn't say a thing, acknowledge me as a customer OR excuse the fact that she physically squeezed past me to get behind the counter. I was pretty taken aback and stood up and moved to continue looking around in the front of the store. The same woman comes out from behind the counter and catches up with me pretty swiftly and stays in stride with me for half the length of the store and STILL doesn’t say anything, but is literally acknowledging every other customer we pass. At this point it occurs to me she may think I’m stealing. Though I don’t really fit the bill if I’m being honest. White woman, 6 foot in heels, small purse, dressed in Friday casual, but still nicely for work.

And then it really all starts to make sense. Not only am I over 6ft in heels, but I’m plus sized ie. not a petite little flower. And while their clothes do not fit me and never have, it’s never stopped me from shopping there because their other items, while over priced, are beautiful. But I definitely don’t look like the rest of their clientele. Funnily enough though, my money spends the same. While this may not seem like a big deal, it was enough for me to finally decide myself and my money are clearly not welcome. Who knows the real reason, I could very well be off base, but I can tell you, completely ignoring someone, but showing warmth and great service to literally everyone else is not a good look and it’s the last time I’ll ever risk being made to feel unwelcome again. If this were the first, second or third time, I wouldn’t be leaving this review. Do better ?

I was shopping close to closing time today; two of the staff members were assisting an out of state customer over the phone. They were texting pictures and receiving details of the customer’s requests. They were so dedicated! It was so cool to see the level of customer service that everyone receives at Terra Verde! Amazing!

Cutest store, the staff was super sweet. Great place to find cool gifts or clothing for someone. Prices are on the higher side but everything is so unique it is worth it. Will be coming back more often.

This store is such a treasure! The salespeople are always helpful and friendly and they have quality, beautiful products. I just found a purse that I love and it cost a fraction of what I was expecting to spend. So glad I shopped local!

I have shopped here for years and have always loved the items that they have. Today I was delighted with the two very kind, patient, and helpful sales ladies who assisted me with shopping. I bought two lovely garments, one by Magnolia Pearl and one by Johnny Was. The ladies were spot on with their recommendations. So pleased with the whole experience, and the young lady assisted me with my check out was very nice too. Terra Verde hit it out of the park today! Thank you ?
