I cannot recommend this bridal boutique enough! After a nightmare experience with a different tailor (who was rude, constantly changing fitting appointments, and even threatening to drop my order), I was lucky to find this gem of a boutique. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of amazing. Not only do they have an exquisite selection of Indian wedding attire, but the level of care and professionalism truly sets them apart.

I was able to find beautiful outfits for my entire family. Their team worked around my schedule and even went above and beyond to help me when I was left scrambling due to the issues with my previous tailor. They took on the urgent task of stitching my wedding lehengas, and they turned out absolutely perfect. I have no doubt the tailor worked overtime to ensure I had it in time for my destination wedding.

Despite living out of state, they managed to complete everything based on my schedule, sparing me the need for multiple trips. This boutique truly understands what it means to provide a luxury experience—it’s worth every penny for the peace of mind and incredible service they provide. If you’re looking for Indian wedding attire, this is the place to go!

This is easily the best store in the Bay Area for tailored Indian clothing, particularly for groom's sherwanis, kurtas, and related accessories. The store also has a wide selection of lehengas, anarkalis, and other clothes. Our families purchased over ten items from the store for our upcoming wedding, and we were satisfied with every single one. The store's selection is constantly being refreshed every few months too -- meaning you will definitely be able to find something new and unique for your wedding/event.

The store's customer service was also top notch. Ajay and Amy are great at listening to you and making personalized recommendations that fit your style, needs, and budget. The rest of the team is just as friendly and professional. Our clothes arrived on time (as promised), and the store's tailor resolved any needed alterations (which were minimal) within a week.

You cannot find a better shopping experience for tailored Indian clothing in the Bay Area.

I shopped here last minute for a formal kurta for my friend’s wedding.

They have a very nice selection at a broad range of price points. All items have posted prices. The quality is high; and the materials are quite gentle in the skins. The kurtas were easy to get in and get out.

Everyone in the store was very helpful and friendly. There were no pushiness nor sale tactics. They even hemmed my pair of pajamas free of charge. But maybe for more complicated alterations, your mileage may vary.

Overall, I was very happy with the experience!

Can't say enough good things about Shehnai! Finally got around to leaving this review, but my experience at this boutique was amazing. Amy totally nailed it helping me customize my outfit for my Sikh wedding. She's not just skilled but super friendly too, making the whole process a breeze. The vibe of the boutique is home-y yet professional. From the fabrics to the embroidery, everything screams quality. I felt like a million bucks on my wedding day. If you're on the hunt for the perfect wedding outfit or any indian outfit (female or male), Shehnai is your place! 🙂

Amy from Shehnai Bridal is WONDERFUL! She helped me chose the perfect outfit for my Hindu wedding ceremony. I got the most gorgeous burgundy velvet outfit that made me look and feel like royalty. The quality of the clothes are fantastic and the customer service far surpasses all other Indian clothing stores I have been to! They made finding my wedding outfit a breeze!

All my wedding looks came from Shehnai. I worked directly with Amy and she literally made my wedding complete by making my vision come to life. She not only dressed me but also dressed my husband's family.

Coming into Shehnai, I already had a bad experience at another bay area bridal shop that wasn't size inclusive. Amy was extremely welcoming and worked with me to pick the best outfit for my wedding and reception. The quality was remarkable and the details on my main looks were beautiful. I really wanted something with beading vs just sequin or glitter and they delivered. I also purchased my wedding jewelry from here as well!

On top of all this, our groomsmen's outfits from India came in the wrong shade, about 4 weeks from the wedding. I reached out to Amy and she worked with me to get 15 groomsmen outfits within 2 weeks. The service and speed she provided, others could not provide.

This is a family business and they treat you like family. Everyone there is sweet and really wants you to walk out with something you'll like. I really value the time Amy spent with my family and made my overall experience amazing.

Thank you Shehnai for making my wedding planning easier. I still shop at Shehnai and highly recommend it to all future brides and their families and friends.

This year I married my best friend the Indian way. I was new to the scene of Indian clothing and outfits for weddings as I am not Indian. I looked at multiple stores for the right outfit before arriving at Shehnai. Shehnai provided me a beautiful outfit and at a reasonable price (unlike some other stores). The Shehnai family was courteous and helpful as I explored multiple outfits until I reached the outfit that was calling my name! Everyone at the store was friendly, patient, and provided honest feedback. I would recommend them hands down for any Indian bridal/groom wear. This is coming from a guy that had no experience with indian outfits before hand
