I've been in to the Sewing Room several times and always been greeted cheerfully and allowed to browse. If I had any questions Greg and the ladies have been so helpful!

Sometimes I'm just in to dream and look at everything, but when I went in to purchase a machine with a generous throat, they let me sit down and try the machines until I decided on the machine to take home.

I love this store and the staff!

March 2023 Update
Greg and my husband just installed my new Regalia, Kinetic frame and ProStitcher automation package. What an absolute joy this setup is. The day after the install Greg sent his quilting specialist, Michelle Guffy, to walk me through just about everything on the new setup.

I've only had it in house 3 days, but I'm absolutely in LOVE! Greg and The Sewing Room customer service and support is beyond anything I've ever experienced.

I cannot recommend The Sewing Room more. Gregg, his staff, and the shop with all it offers is the best experience.

Went into The Sewing Room for supplies for the Party Ribbons smocking plate. It has been discontinued so they didn’t have a copy. None of us could remember how much of each color ribbon was needed, so we all started Googling it with no luck. I am posting the directions here for future reference. 😊

I cannot say enough good things about The Sewing Room. I bought a machine and have been so pleased with it. The price was the BEST!! I had researched, in a 100 mile radius, before purchasing, and no one could get close to the price they offered! The drive from Decatur, AL to Birmingham, AL was worth it! The associates are beyond good...they are wonderful. They went out of their way to help me...from answering questions to loading my car! I'm a customer for life!!!

Yesterday was the first time I stepped foot into The Sewing Room and it definitely will not be my last. The entire staff are the nicest people I have ever met. The owner, Greg, went above and beyond with his expertise and customer service of helping me buy a new embroidery machine. You really don’t find many people, let alone businesses, that have the sincerity they all display. I cannot say thank you enough to them all!

I have been to the Sewing Room several times and purchased online as well. The employees are very friendly and helpful. They have beautiful fabrics and heirloom patterns and laces. I have had my sewing/embroidery machine serviced there and was very pleased with the work.

Love The Sewing Room! I have never been disappointed in the service I received in the store. From the owner, Greg, to all of the staff I have felt they appreciated my business. Greg has always been honest with me in making a purchase. From the purchase of my Baby Lock Jazz to the recent purchase of my Altair. I will go back for all of my sewing needs. Can hardly wait to get started on the classes for the use of my Altair 🙂

It has been difficult to find the type of materials needed to make heirloom dresses for my 8 granddaughters. I was able to find needed materials at The Sewing Room and they were very helpful in answering my questions. They went above and beyond what was required because I sew this special Easter dress for each granddaughter using the same style. I would recommend them to anyone who loves to sew and wants to use the best materials.

The shop is beautiful and the employees are so helpful. I took a tatting class and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also had some lace repaired on a dress with a fancy band- impeccable work! I’ve enjoyed ordering fabric from them, as well, and it arrived very quickly ! Two thumbs up on this lovely store!
