When I first started searching for a wedding dress, I tried so many shops, so many dresses, all of which didn’t fit well and weren’t exactly what I was looking for. Then I came across Romantic Creations. From the first visit, I knew Maria could create something special for me. Not only did she make me a gown that fit like a glove, but was every aspect that I was looking for and more. It was stunning. I was so grateful to make a bond with her and the process of going to fittings and seeing the dress come to life was so fun. Thanks to Maria for making the dress of my dreams.

Maria is an absolute genius. Her dresses are gorgeous and I found the perfect dress for my wedding. It’s beautiful! She does altering and also makes bridesmaid dresses. I walked in to her shop and was amazed by her handmade dresses. You literally cannot find a better place to find the wedding dress of your dreams, or a better person to put your trust in.

Ms. Maria did an excellent job creating a bustle and hemming my wedding dress I bought at Goodwill. I was referred to Ms. Maria and her shop by my bridesmaid Cierra, who purchased a custom dress from Ms. Maria a few years ago for her wedding. I have never owned anything as expensive and as delicate as a wedding gown, and Ms. Maria gave a lot of advice on proper storage, cleaning, and shapewear. She has been making custom clothing and sewing since she was a child, the dresses in her store were so beautiful and intricate, unlike any dresses I’ve ever seen. They were pretty affordable for custom, one-of-a-kind dresses, but I only used Ms. Maria’s alteration services. She also had accessories like belts and veils and beautiful cardigans. The pricing I was provided to have a bustle created and hemming done was extremely reasonable for the quality of work she provided and it was a fairly quick turnaround (dropped off in June and picked up in August), well before our required date at the top of October. I will highly recommend Ms. Maria for any alterations work or for anyone interested in custom attire.

Maria is a wonderful seamstress and designer. Her dresses are absolutely gorgeous as is her shop! She altered my wedding dress to perfection, and I bought my veil, floral head piece, and silk sash from her shop. They are so pretty and will be passed down. I bought my dress from another vendor and it had a rip. I brought it to Maria to see what she advised as far as ordering a new dress or trying to fix the rip. She advised me free of charge before altering the dress. She is so funny and sweet, and is honestly a master at her craft with so much expertise. She will be honest about what she thinks if you need help deciding about your look, accessories, etc. If you’re lucky enough to be able to purchase one of her handmade, high quality, one-of-a-kind dresses or accessories, or have her do your alterations, you won’t regret it!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Maria and Romantic Creations. I was in a bit of a situation as I ordered a dress online for our elopement and needed to get it altered in a week! I was referred to Maria from a seamstress and I’m so glad I was. Maria squeezed me into her busy schedule and my dress now fits like a glove. She even replaced ties on the back of my dress with beautiful silk. If I could do it all over again, I would have had Maria design me a dress as the dresses in her store are just beautiful and I know we could have designed the dress of my dreams. Maria was amazing!! I brought my dress in for alterations after cancelling my appointment elsewhere due to their bad reviews. I’m a month out from my wedding and was in a panic trying to find a seamstress that could fit me in their schedule. Maria was very nice, understanding, and I am very thankful to her for making room for me. She altered exactly what I asked and did a beautiful job! Not to mention the turn around time was only about a week and a half which was a welcomed surprise. Could not be more happy with the results. Also, she has a beautiful shop with a gorgeous collection of wedding dresses that she hand makes. If you’re looking for a wedding dress I highly recommend visiting her shop first!

Everything about this place is amazing; I’m not even sure where to start. Maria is someone you immediately connect to, as though you’ve known her for years. She listens to what you want, and you can trust she will give you exactly what you need. Trust her!
I dislike shopping, so I came here in hopes I could have the exact wedding dress I wanted in one stop. That’s exactly what I got. I tried on a few designs to get a feel for fit, material, profile, length, etc. I liked the skirt on one, the bodice on another, and patterns I saw online. She sketched out a quick design, and in a few weeks she brought to life my perfect dress. Oh it was so perfect. It was comfortable, looked, great, and 100% worth the money for a custom, handmade dress. I recommend her to anyone looking for a custom dress, wedding or otherwise. Thank you forever, Maria!!
