We recently built a new home during the pandemic along with many, many supply chain issues. We bought most of the tile that we needed from ProSource. Prior to that I had gone to three other tile stores, picked out all of the tile, etc. that I needed, left the store with assurances that they would quickly get me a quote. Even after following up with them multiple times I never received a quote from any of them. I got my Prosource quote, either before I left the store or on the same day. Start to finish with no problems. Scottie is one of the best sales representatives that I have ever worked with. She gives excellent service and is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this business.

Our experience with ProSource started well. Showroom was clean and had many options. When we received our porcelain tile, it appeared we had a manufacturing defect. We had many pieces without the veining expected in the tile. It almost appears that the manufacturer ran out of ink. While I do expect variation in tile, many were faded or completely blank. Defects happen, I did not think it would be much of a hassle to exchange a couple of boxes.

When we reach out to our salesperson, Scottie, she immediately became defensive and rude. She said that pictures online are toned darker than actual tile, and that is just what we should expect. We brought in the tile to get a second opinion. Another salesperson agreed that we had a manufacturing defect and said that they would work to make it right. After we sorted all the tile we requested a replacement of about 1/3 of our order.

Scottie called my wife a few hours later and said, “Will THAT make you happy to replace those boxes?” Her tone was very condensing. This was one of two conversations where Scottie was rude. In the other conversation, she said our tile design idea would be horrible and we would regret cutting the tile a certain way.

When I returned the agreed upon boxes and requested one additional box, Scottie completely blew me off. I left the store after she said she was too busy for me. I returned a few moments later to leave my phone number, so she could work just with me after she was insulting to me wife in the previous two conversations.

Scottie chuckled, said that she doesn’t want to speak to my wife, and was, yet again, demeaning. I stated that I did not appreciate her insulting my wife, and I would be getting my additional tile elsewhere.

Pictures below show what we saw in the showroom versus what was sent. Very little veining on the floor tile that we expected from a manufactured tile.

Our contractor did an excellent job helping us with the problem.
