The workers here are awful they are not friendly they just stand around and are rude. I brought a bunch of nice/brand new clothes and they refused it all. They hardly even looked at the clothes. Very pathetic workers. Wouldn’t recommend anyone going there!

Don't bother bringing your clothes here if you're a man. I brought a variety of clothing articles from name brands and after 45 minutes they refused everything and told me they had "low demand"

I brought in lots of CLEAN clothes that and they looked through them for maybe 5-10 min and refused everything very rudely saying they smelled like cigarettes When my clothes have been in the trunk of my car for months and I’ve never smoked a cigarette in my life. They seem to be too good or busy to take clothes anymore…
A few weeks ago my mom also tried to bring in clothes and they did the exact same thing!

Went in today 10/23 to do the 6$ grab bag sale. Super deal btw! The girl that checked me out, KC, as it says on receipt was so sweet! Super friendly and complemented all the things I picked out. She just seemed very genuine, kudos to her.

I use to love shopping here…. But the place has gone downhill and I will not be returning.

Nasty environment, rude staff, the clothes were priced well but have been increasingly going up and up. $18 for an ugly, long sleeve shirt. $60 stained and stinky shoes. Don’t even get me started on the “name brand items” lol!

Save a stop and don’t shop here.

The prices, pieces, and people are all SO great here! They have a range of different styles/aesthetics and sizes, so there literally is something for everyone! They update their social media pages with new items multiple times per day, which is super helpful if you like to plan what you’re buying before you go or like to have first dibs on new arrivals. I pay the same here as I do thrifting, but here, the selection is much more saturated with trendy items and the atmosphere is so much more enjoyable. I would 100% recommend!!

Dubuque Plato’s closet is HORRIBLE! Has to be the nastiest one around, smells horrible and not to mention the clothes they take in are disgusting have holes and stains. Multiple items are prices OUTRAGEOUS (Had a pair of jeans WITH THE NEW TAG STILL ON and had their price $10 more?). DO NOT SHOP HERE. Hire people that know how to do their job.
