My family and myself are originally from TN, we were visiting because we were picking up a camper. We stopped by here looking for a ball hitch. And Mr.Charlie knew the size I would need exactly. And he helped me put the hitch on my truck. Billie the manager was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. The service here was the most top notch and the best I've ever gotten from a Ace Hardware.

This Ace hardware is a very deceptive and pretty much stealing from customers business. If you get propane filled there you a flat rate of $15.99 no matter if you are completely empty or if you have a partial tank. That is horrible business in itself, but that isn’t the worst scam part. They have their scale set on 37 lbs for a 20 lb tank which is fine if it was just weighing the tank itself, but this weight is including their refill nozzle and hose when being filled. So, on average they are stealing at least 1 1/4 lb of propane from each customer every time someone gets a tank filled their. They should adjust their scale to weight including their refill nozzle and hose weight. I don’t know if the owner of this Ace knows they are stealing or is it just the general manager stealing from customers. Everyone that gets propane filled there needs to report this business to the State of Alabama Weights and Measures Division.

After updating for several years I figured I'd just start new. Pell City Ace has become a staple for the community. They really listen and they strive to get what we need, when we need it. They will work with the price, they will work with a product, they will deliver, assemble and all with a willingness to provide an excellent purchasing experience. With each year the products become more specific and the organization and cleanliness of the store gets better and better. My hat's off to the staff for maintaining an excellent retail environment. Update: even more stuff, if that was possible. New products inside and out, but everything is neat and well arranged. The core of what I need is expanded to the accessories that I want. The store has heard the needs of the community and have responded generously. I'm grateful that we have an Ace hardware in our community.

Prices are double what every other place is. I don’t know why they have such insanely high prices but it does make you drive an extra 10 minutes to avoid paying $300 for something that should cost $100 to $150
