Please don't use this company to sell your heirlooms.They will try to beat you out of asking what's it's worth.I had a presidential document from the 1800s and they wanted me to list it way below what asking price on Ebay and any other website.Im talking 80% less.I had already talked to several people who have told me it's value and decided to attempt to sale it.Was open to starting a bid asking at least 60% value and see what happens but was given a nasty attitude. PLEASE BEWARE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM.

This auction house is extremely hard to deal with. I was an absentee bidder and thought I had won a lot. When I called to make payment they told me I had “tied” with another bidder in the room. Since I was a phone bidder the bidder in the room won. I have NEVER heard of this in my 40 years of auction buying. I’ve had trouble getting on their bidding website and they don’t care. I’m done with this auction house and would NEVER recommend them. New Orleans Auction house is far superior.

Was registered to bid online and I made a bid and before it got accepted it moved onto the next item. Total BS!! Would have bid $1,000 more it sold for. Their loss, not mine!

While the items in their inventory are absolutely to die for, they can be a bit misleading with their photos and not include very many. I bought a fur coat that while stunning on the outside, had small splatter stains all along the bottom inner lining. There were no photos of the inner lining, and the defect was not listed in the description. Not a huge deal as the inner lining isn't even seen when worn or hung, but makes it difficult to resell. My fault for not being more discerning. Take care when bidding on items online with little description.

Neal Auction came through with an item that was exactly as described, and with which I am delighted. This is my first experience with this company. The personnel were most helpful both before and after the sale. I now wish I had bid more aggressively on a couple of other lots.

I'm happy to see so many bad reviews！I wouldn't give a single star to Neal Auction if I could. As the reviewers said, I'm unlucky metthat female who was quite condescending！No matter what I say, she doesn't listen and just hangs up on my phone. I said I would fix my account problem, she said it was too late, I would not allow you to bid even if you solved it. Really recommend not to watch Neal Auction, they won't let you buy haha. This is the worst experience I've ever had.

My husband and I have had nothing short of a wonderful experience with Neal Auction. Incredible selection of art and furniture from all over the world. Plus, their entire staff from the guys that helped us pick up our purchase to the auctioneer are knowledgeable and kind.
