Love this lil laundromat. Staff's always friendly, prices are pretty reasonable especially if you use the big machines. Glad we've got one in town.

One of the least pleasant experiences of RVing I think is having to use a public laundromat. We have a portable washer that we use with success but many times we have to use a laundromat. I must say the one in Grinnell has got to be the finest one we’ve ever been in. The machines are clean after each use by a person that’s actually attending the laundromat. pleasant personable. All the machines worked, and it was reasonably priced. Thank you for a great experience, even in a laundromat.

I am sure glad to know that we have Matag laundry in town when either my washer or dryer has mechanical issues! I always know I have a place to go to get my laundry done. They keep it clean and are always very polite. I've also used the tanning beds. They are great!

The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is due to the night shift ladies. They are wonderful. Polite, sociable, courteous.
The reason why they are not getting more than 2 is many reasons:
1. 20 normal washers with 12 out of order.
2. 8 heavy duty washers (which costs twice as much) only 1 out of order.
Suspicious, I think so!
3. There's a VERY RUDE CHILD that's 21 and NOT a teenager, has been working here for 3yrs, knows how the washers work so there's no way she could be wrong or the washer, working here.
I had to rinse the towels that were still very sudsy, after 2 cycles of my own money, would not rinse them out. I had to rinse them in the bathroom sink which took time I didn't have and killed my hands. All because she wouldn't do one more cycle that would not have costed her or the business anything. I've already spent $20 just for this one trip. Not coming back here again and will be making the extra drive to a different laundromat if I have too.
I would advise to avoid this palace at all costs.

Tried visiting on 7/26/24 near 9pm to use the change machine and they were already closed when advertised to be open till 9:30pm. Have only visited 2 times prior for the same reason.

Pros: nice friendly people, very clean at all times, plenty of machines to choose from, and plenty of room.

Cons: dryers are always a Gamble as to whether or not they're working correctly, and the washers don't need to be prices quite so high. Other than that no complaints.
