I called Maxine’s from out of town based on Google reviews and ratings to send flowers to my daughter in law in Troy. I told her what I wanted to spend ($75) and that she liked hydrangeas. I saw plenty of beautiful arrangements with hydrangeas for even less that that price point online but told her beyond that i had no requests other than hydrangeas. The next day my daughter in law sent me photos of the arrangement she received which was bizarre looking and had no hydrangeas. To top it off, my credit card statement was charged for $92. Lesson learned. No more Maxine’s. Buyer beware.

I ordered flowers for same-day delivery to celebrate my sister getting a new job. They were out of the colors of flowers needed to complete my order, so they took the time to call me to see how I wanted this handled. I opted to have them complete the arrangement with other colors. The flowers were delivered to my sister's workplace within 2.5 hours of being ordered, and they are absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for helping me make this experience a little bit more special for my sister!

The absolute best florist in Troy. They have served my family for many years and always go the extra mile to do so. Everything they do is amazing. They have personally done fresh flowers, sympathy flowers and silk pots for my family’s grave site. The owner and designer has done this her whole life and does work to please. Go or call the friendliest crew in Troy at Maxines!

We went to Maxine’s for a last minute Boutonnière for the Prom. The ladies pulled one together in less than 30 minutes that matched her corsage perfectly.

Extremely disappointed. I placed my order over the phone for a spray for a classmates funeral specifically stating that the ribbon needed to have our school colors and class year. Fortunately a classmate stop by the funeral home only to discover spray was delivered but did not have a ribbon. She dropped by Maxine's only to be told they don't put ribbons on sprays and that she was not told that in the order. She, ( I believe her name was Linda) did not try to make the order correct nor sympathetic. Troy is a small town and normally known for being close community . Even though I don't live there anymore I felt like I could trust this business to handle this sensitive time . There was no customer service , did not respond to e-mail etc. So in my opinion your are better ordering from the other flower shop in Troy.

We are not from Troy and sent flowers to a funeral service from this florist based on reviews. I'd like to add my 5 stars as the flowers were beautiful and they were there on time. We were glad we chose Maxine's because others ordered through the funeral home's web site and did not have their flowers delivered. Thank you for a beautiful arrangement.
