Came to the Pell City store on 2 occasions to try to purchase Hoka shoes, no one seems to be assigned to assist in that department. Update: decided to go back, tracked down an associate, purchased the shoes I wanted, associate was very pleasant and helpful

I have never been to a store where when an item rings up incorrect, they tell me to come back tomorrow because they are going to have to figure out why it was ringing up that way! It was a sale item and the last one. Also the manager, Elic made sure to tell me he was going to “make it right” but I would need to come back tomorrow! I am baffled! He also told me shoes have been put in wrong boxes, I did not mix up the shoes. The picture on the box matched the shoe. I know there are people who do that to get a sale, but I however did not. Also was told that the bottom of the shoes were dirty. I was not returning the shoes I was trying to buy them. So if I wanted to buy shoes that had a dirty bottom (most likely from people trying on and walking around the store) why did it matter.! There were 4 employees just walking around doing nothing. Maybe they could have been checking shoes if that has become such a problem!!

Absolutely rude people. Walked in to find lots of people apparently conducting inventory, which is fine however no indication on the website, no sign on the door and people looked at me like I had insulted them by walking in and rudely said we are not open with an attitude. My family and I will never go back.

My husband wanted to try Hoka's. The sweet girl in the shoe dept(long reddish blond hair) helped us and found him a pair to purchase. She was very patient and knowledgeable!

My experience is usually great at Martins. Although today i came in to return some items and the customer service was horrible . A grey haired woman with glasses ( i didn’t get the name) yelled at me and told me that i couldn’t return because the shoes have been worn. They were a Christmas present so i’d assume the person who received them walked around in them to make sure they fit but that’s IT. I understand their policy but the way this woman talked me down was horrible. Almost made me have tears in my eyes.

Found the best pair of extra wide bell bottom jeans I've found in 15 + years! The only thing that would have made it better, why I only gave four stars , is if they hadn't been so expensive but all in all I am far beyond satisfied! And the people are super helpful and very kind. But majority of their best inventory is a bit pricey

The Manger over the shoe department is a lying 2 faced lady that wasted the cops time and she also is the reason why that store will no longer get my friends or families support. She lied and called the police on me when I did nothing wrong. It felt good to know Pell City PD did their job right I have a ton of respect for them for handling the situation the way they did.
