This was my first time ordering with Ken’s and it was a great experience. I inquired about a machine after hours and they responded early the next day answering all my questions. I received an invoice to pay via email (called the store to confirm it was correct because your can’t be too cautious these days with online sales) and Amber was very kind and understanding of my concerns of wanting to confirm the invoice via phone. The price of the machine I ordered was reasonable (and cheaper) compared to other online stores selling the same machine. Once paid, it shipped same day. I received it 2 days later! It was great! I look forward to working and ordering with them again.

I have a Baby Lock Jazz II that I purchased during Covid. I ordered from a supply company and it was delivered and has sewn like a dream for the past 3 years until a few weeks ago. I took it to another shop, tried to explain what it was doing but I was pretty much ignored by the service person and told they would call when it was ready but said it would be a few weeks before it would be looked at. That should have been my cue to take my machine and leave but I wanted it repaired so I left. Long story short, 4 weeks and $200 later I get my machine home and ready to get to work and finish some Christmas gifts. First stitches it's doing exactly the same thing! I was LIVID! I turned it off and did something else for those gifts.
I brought my machine to Ken's Friday morning. Not only did they listen to my explanation of what was happening, he wrote it down and was genuinely trying to understand what I told him. Within 2 hours I get a call it's ready! I got it home and was a little nervous trying it with the previous experiment I had but it is sewing like a dream and I could not be happier.
Cost was what I would expect and service was excellent! KEN'S has a new customer here! It's worth the hour drive for me!!!

Ordered my first sewing machine through Ken’s website. The machine arrived in perfect condition and right on time. They also included several items for free with my purchase, including a scissor set, bobbins and needles. This was especially appreciated as I am a beginner sewer who is starting from scratch. Ken's Sewing Center is my go-to place for sewing machine purchases. I have purchased four machines from them over the years and have appreciated the excellent prices and customer service. These were all online. purchases, and the machines have all been safely shipped very promptly. Kevin, who has handled online orders, has been a prompt, courteous, and helpful responder. He is an excellent communicator, and his service attitude is beyond compare. I will definitely be seeking to do business with Ken's Sewig Center again in the future.

I called this company and made an appointment to bring my machine in to have cleaned and look at a problem. This is a 7 hour drive for me but I was going to be in the area for a few days so I dropped off my machine. I talked directly with the person I had called before I left home (Jeremy). He wrote the ticket up with the info of when I would be back to pick up. When I show up at the appointed day and time to pick up, I find that no one had touched my machine. They had the machine for 5 days. Needless to say, I was infuriated.
I guess I should have known better than to trust them since they lied to me when I called and asked if they were a Viking dealer and was told yes only to find out when I walked in that they ARE NOT a Viking dealer.
I really don’t know how this place stays in business when they treat customers this way. I would say be wary of this place.

I've had the worst experience trying to buy a new sewing machine. The manufacturer's website was not working correctly over Thanksgiving weekend. I tried to order through a local dealer in southern Illinois but they have been so rude and condescending, I am done dealing with them - really horrible. I have seen Ken's Sewing Center pop up on many of my searches when reviewing different machines so I looked it up this morning and they had the machine I wanted at the Black Friday special price! I ordered it online - so easy and simple. I called the store to thank them and the sweet & kind young lady I spoke with, left me feeling confident I chose the correct dealer. Thank you for being supportive and nice. I appreciate a business that treats you with respect and appreciates your business.

I was searching for a replacement to my existing machine for months. I finally settled on a Janome HD5050 after seeing videos and comments from users. This machine is exclusive to Ken's Sewing Center and it arrived quickly. I was able to call and ask questions and received prompt assistance. They have a very nice staff. I was very impressed with how quiet the machine is and all of the options, including not needing to use a presser foot.

A week later, my daughter wanted a HD5000 as she used it for costume design at her university. I decided to purchase one for her as a birthday gift. Again, I was able to call, ask questions, and helped with placing the order immediately. Again the machine arrived promptly and my daughter was extremely happy with the gift aka machine. Thanks for the amazing experience and making the transactions easy. I highly recommend them.

Fabulous immersion into the world of sewing and embroidery. Ken's has an excellent selection of machines and supplies, the newest technology, knowledgeable staff, and a fantastic vibe. They love what they do and are good at it. It sure makes it fun to share my hobby with them. Highly recommend and worth a long drive to shop with them.
