Taylor and her coworker were a great team. Not knowing what style I liked, they let me pick out whatever I wanted to try on. Then within 2 dresses they both knew what my type was and brought out beautiful dresses. Would definitely recommend this shop to any future brides!

I ALMOST CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT!!

But boy am I glad I didn't! Mom and I had searched high and low, all around Birmingham for the perfect dress, but everything I tried on was "almost" what I was looking for. I found a dress I really liked at another boutique in town, but to make it my DREAM dress, we were going to have to spend extra money in alterations adding straps, removing layers, etc. The day leading up to my appointment with Imperial, I almost settled for that other dress and nearly cancelled my appointment. Mom encouraged me to go and just see what they had. SO GLAD I DID!!!

We were greeted by two young ladies, both seemed very excited for us and our appointment. I showed them some inspo pictures and showed the the other dress i liked, and explained the reasons I didn't love it. They both looked at each other and said, "we have the PERFECT dress for you!" So they pulled THE dress as well as a few others. The moment I put it on, I knew it was the one. Before they even zipped me up, I was telling mom "Yup! This is it!" from the dressing room. I walked out and mom and I both teared up - and we are not emotional gals, so it was definitely special for us!

I tried on other dresses to compare, but ultimately came back to the first dress they picked for me and absolutely love it! They got me sized, added a veil, and the dress came in very quickly! They even gave us great recs on alteration companies. The dress was stunning and made me feel gorgeous on my wedding day!

I've almost typed this review a few times, because the service and selection was so great, but I wanted to wait until I had professional shots from our amazing photographer, Abigail McCall!

If you're looking for a lacy, romantic dress for your wedding day - go to Imperial Formal Wear! My dress was a dream come to life, but I swear there were two other dresses there that were just as beautiful and I would have been happy to wear for our wedding. The ladies at Imperial Formal Wear were also so kind and amazing, very helpful to me in making this big decision. The photos included are by our wedding photographer (Maria Linz Photography); I think these really capture the romantic elegance of the lace, the illusion bodice, and the train. Seriously love this dress SO much!

I went in to Imperial Formal Wear today to find my wedding dress and I genuinely cannot imagine having gone anywhere else! Taylor was absolutely amazing and made me feel so comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. They had an amazing and size inclusive selection of dresses and the atmosphere was so welcoming and empowering. I genuinely wish I could give this place 10 stars.
