I just visited this boutique for my first time yesterday and there were 3-4 employees at the front counter chatting with each other and not one of them spoke to me and they were all hush hush as soon as I entered the building to look at their selection. I overheard them talking about the fights they’ve been in with people. Obviously I’m not surprised by that! They were more concerned about their personal problems instead of taking one second to acknowledge me. Plus, they talked to the other two customers in the store and not me. I felt awkward and judged the entire time I was in that store. I decided to buy a blouse, and the young girl at the counter didn’t even ask how my day was going and hardly said a single word to me. All she did was ask if I was a teacher or in the military. Looking back, I shouldn’t have bought anything from them at all because they don’t deserve mine or anyone else’s business. In addition, I don’t like the “curvy ladies” sign on one of the racks because it automatically body shames women. Don’t all women have curves any way? Avoid this store at all costs! Doesn’t matter if you are plus size or not, don’t come here! The first impression you make on a customer matters hugely! Congratulations for losing another customer! I’ll be shopping at your competitors instead!

Cute clothes but only a handful of XL options in the whole store. There were 3-4 employees present. One was using a dressing room mirror to put on makeup. No one spoke to me the entire time, and it was quiet, except when they talked to each other. No one offered to start a dressing room. I needed a last minute item and thankfully found a cute top that worked but the vibe of the store was off-putting. Will be a last resort place for me from now on.

Harvey and Hill is my secret weapon for buying gifts for my wife, daughter, and mother. The staff is friendly and very helpful in making suggestions and my ladies always get compliments on the cute clothes. Great prices too!

I went into Harvey & Hill for the first time in a while a couple of weeks ago and I can’t tell you how disappointed I was. This boutique states on their Facebook that they are plus size friendly. That couldn’t be further from the truth. There was absolutely nothing in the plus size range. Don’t market yourself as a plus size boutique and then have not one thing for those people.

The lady with the glasses is so rude!!! I can’t even put into words how bad my experience was. First, there was no greeting when we entered the store. She gave my friend and I the nastiest look when we decided not to purchase any items. My friend paid with half cash and half debit card and they made it seem like a huge ordeal, when it wasn’t. I will never be shopping here again.
