Tried to come to the store since we are renovating our house. Who is closed on a Saturday when regular people can’t get there? They’re only open Monday through Friday when everyone is working? Horribly inconvenient and they lost out on several cells today because of it. We weren’t the only one trying to get in the store.

Purchased nice furniture from here in May 2023, paid a $70 delivery fee, however, the delivery was horrible. The delivery men scratched my furniture while bringing it into my home and tore up a wall. The owner came, took pictures and assured me that he would get someone to fix my wall. Now he tells me he nor his delivery men were responsible for the incident and that the delivery men were only supposed to deliver the furniture to the house and leave it outside. I just recently purchased this home in March and now there is this ugly damage to my wall (which by the way he and the delivery men told me to just slap some paint over it) and I am very unsatisfied. Why promise to get someone to fix what your workers destroyed and then go back on your word. This is an injustice and a bad way to conduct business.

The best way that i can think of to describe the Restore is they have consignment level quality merchandise at yard sale prices. When i first moved to my home in Montgomery, I went from a 1 bedroom studio to a 3 bedroom house. So it’s easy to say that i didn’t have much in the way of furnishings. I went to a few furniture stores in the area and not only were the prices much higher than i could afford, the quality wasn’t worth the price. On top of that most of everything in the furniture stores was on backorder and was going to take between 6-8 months to be delivered to my home. A friend at work suggested that i check out the Habitat for Humanity Restore because of the quality and the price of the things i could find there. I am so happy that i decided to check them out and see what they had for sale. What would have only have furnished a very small room in my home at the furniture store prices, i purchased all of the furniture for my home from the Restore.

I also wanted to add that at least semi-monthly they have a Facebook live video that shows their merchandise and the prices of some of the pieces for sale in the store. This is invaluable as it saves you from wasting gas and a trip over there as you can easily see what they have for sale at the store without leaving home.

The employees are kind and polite, and always offer to help me load up my purchases. The prices are rock bottom for the quality of the items that you’re getting and i cannot recommended them highly enough.

Go check the Restore out. You won’t be sorry! 😁

What I like about the store are the discounts received but I have a negative. My negative is that the store is closed on Saturday's and closes before 4 pm weekdays. I work weekdays ,7am-4pm, and can't reach the store in time to see what it has to offer. Then when Saturday comes the store is closed for business leaving me to shop other stores for the discounts they offer...tho I know there is no comparison to what Montgomery Habitat ReStore would offer. Thanks for reading I hope my review was insightful and precise.
