Snobby associates (if you can believe the audacity) I have been in this store about four times to look at their shoe section and each time the sales clerks have been atrocious. I drive from atlanta for an appointment every couple of months and usually shop the summit while I’m there, but will definitely skip this place here on out. I didn’t give it a one star simply because the Bobbi Brown sales associate was an absolute joy when greeting me upon my arrival into the store.

We went in today was greeted by the nice lady at the skin care and the lady at the perfume was very friendly and nice. I had merchandise that I was going to purchase but as I turned around and saw the three old women talking about us not once but several times. Very thankful my grandma didn’t see them because she would’ve said something and it wouldn’t be nice lol I did mention to her later and this is what she said…What they 50 plus years old working in a department store and wanted to talk about a teenager… Bye and grow up…

Visited the store at the summit in Birmingham on Saturday. The stares from some of thier employees like my friend and I did not belong. She as well as myself have spent and continued to spend money at this location(purchased 4 different parfumes same Saturday)but this past Saturday did it for us. I've voiced my opinion in this before but decided to go back a give it a try but yet again same treatment different day. Hopefully the employees will Study the word of GOD and learn that we are all created us all in his own image! Do not look down on others because of the color of thier skin. Our money is the same color and spend the same.
Hopefully the owners will take heed and get thier employess Customer Care training for others outside thier race.

I spent the night here on my way to Atlanta and when I saw their display, I went inside and I actually love all the brands they carry esp byredo. But that was the only thing nice abt this store. They were not friendly and they actually profiled me and watched me walked around until I exited. They made a mistake as I was almost ready to spend 2k on some tops and another byredo fragrance.

I was on break today and decided to take a stroll in this store. I stopped at the perfume counter, since I’m a perfume addict. There selection did not disappoint. They have a good selection of niche fragrances. The lady behind the counter was Super Friendly, and was very likable. Also, the lady across the way at the beauty/skincare counter was also very friendly. I definitely will be back soon to visit my new favorite sales associates!

I had to run in for an eye shadow and the door was already locked. They have 6:00 pm closing posted but when I arrived at 5:50 it was locked and the employee turned her back to me. The last time I went in not one single employee spoke to me - I probably passed 4 or 5.
They got their noses in the air. Will not go back.

My wife and I have bought several pairs of shoes there. The last time we went was the best experience we have had in a shoe/clothing store. I don’t remember her name but she was great. Unfortunately this time was exactly the opposite. This lady Peggy Lee basically looked straight through my wife and I to ask another couple if they needed help. She was rude during the whole transaction. I guess she assumed that we was broke or something. Not sure. But i will tell you that she should not be working in my favorite shoe store. I will be calling Monday to speak to a manager. I will say this is a great store and i would recommend any and everyone to shop here. Just don’t let Peggy help you. She didn’t deserve to help me and make any commission off of my purchase.

Gus Mayer Shoes is the absolute BEST place to find chic, fashion-forward, and comfy shoes. Everyone on the team is wonderful! You will not find more helpful, knowledgeable or kind helpers who will make sure you leave with the perfect pair(s)!!!!
