I was introduced to Finch Fine Wines last Christmas, and it’s already become one of my favorite places in Birmingham! My friends gifted me a subscription that started in January 2025, and I’ve loved discovering their incredible selection of wines. I’ve only been once so far to pick up my Wine of the Month and shop their Winter Bundle, but I was so impressed with the variety and quality of their offerings.

Their social media posts are fantastic—always highlighting new arrivals and giving great wine recommendations. Plus, their online cellar shopping makes browsing and ordering so easy, even if you can’t make it into the store right away.

I’m excited to explore more of what Finch Fine Wines has to offer, including their free tastings and advanced classes. It’s the perfect spot for wine lovers to taste, shop, and learn. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Finch's. I met Nate doing some work for him, and the way he talked about what he did was infectious. So, I had to stop in. The staff was very knowledgeable, very informative, and incredibly helpful. I felt like I left with three great bottles of wine and a little bit of knowledge.

I went into Finch’s for the first time about 6 weeks ago. I’ve been several times since for personal wine and wine for several parties since then. It is my favorite new discovery in the area! I love the selection. It is well curated, so you’re not overwhelmed by choices, and the staff is so knowledgeable! It has an unpretentious feel and doesn’t make you feel dumb if you don’t know much about specific wines. It has a great mix of price points. I am so glad I discovered Finch!

Best Wine Shop in town! Nate, David and the whole staff are incredibly knowledgeable, easy to work with and take the guesswork out of any questions you might have. They work hard so you don't have to! Great selection in-shop and have access to rare and older bottles. If you want it, they can find it! Also great understanding of and selection of value wines.

The "Zoom" tastings, led by Nate, are informal, informative and most fun. Great for oenophiles, novices and everyone in between. The best way to enjoy, learn about and discuss wine with staff and regulars without having to take an Uber home!

The monthly Wine Club is a great way to expand your vino horizons, and if you are ever able to attend one of the Connoisseur Courses, you will have an experience you will not soon forget.

Cannot say enough good things about Finch Fine Wines. Get by there soon, you won't regret it!

I’ve been a customer of Finch Fine Wines since early 2020. They have a great model with a very good online catalog of wines that are available. Online orders are usually ready for pickup at the store within a day or two.

But if you have an immediate need they do have a good selection of wines in store. All of the staff I have interacted with over the years are helpful and very knowledgeable.

The monthly wine club is a great value and allows you to try a curated selection of wine each month.
