Great… very efficient. The woman helping me with picking glasses just helped with what I wanted and nothing more. She did give me a price to get new lenses to put in my other glasses that I love. I appreciated the help.

My husband had his exam for the first time and was very satisfied with Dr Hively and his Staff. They are friendly and professional. His eyeglasses with progressive lens and tint did not break the bank like some optometrists.

Check in a the exam went smooth. Dr Hively was very personable and friendly however I can’t say the same for the older woman in the front whom I was escorted to to proceed with getting my glasses. Not once in the time I was escorted to the lobby and the 30mins I sat waiting, not once did she greet or acknowledge that I was there while helping another customer. Multi tasking to say, “sir I’m sorry for your wait,” would have been better than ignoring me. At the 30min mark I got up and left, hopefully when I go back someone more suitable will be able to assist me.

First let me say I understand the importance of punctuality in any doctors office . With that being said I was told 1 of my 2 kids couldn’t be seen for being 30 SECONDS to a minute late over the grace period . The grace period literally ended as I was walking up to the desk checking in. One of my kids has autism and it worked best for both to be seen at the same time. We had a hiccup that morning that slowed us down & I understand being on time but come on it was literally 30 seconds… The front desk receptionist wasn’t the nicest about it either . I wonder if anyone else has been told they couldn’t be seen because of that or was it something particular about us…. I will say the woman who helped us pick out glasses and the other receptionist were very nice and apologetic. They also made sure I received the correct/better frame for my son. This was our first and LAST time here .

I was seen right at my appointment time. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet Dr Hively. He is very nice and informative. Overall, a good experience.

I discovered that I was overcharged for this visit. I called their billing agent 4 times since 10/7/24 and they agreed that they owe me money, but on 1/3/2025, I am still waiting.
It is 1/16/2025 and I am still waiting.
It is now 2/4/25 and still no refund. It is hard to believe that they haven't refunded my money yet!
