I felt like a million bucks trying on dresses for my cousins destination wedding. It’s so hard to pick out dresses and with their styling expertise, they picked out some amazing dresses knowing that they would flatter me and look truly immaculate, and classy with my hourglass figure. It’s been so hard to find something that fits my shape until I stopped at DUGO! As I was trying dresses on, I’d walk out to the big mirrors, while other women in the shop were stunned and it just made me feel even better! I felt like a top model! They did an over the top job helping me feel good and confident for all of the outfits for the wedding weekend. Sit back, and let them work their magic! Be open to let them know what you’re looking for! The ladies are all professional stylists and specialize in their merchandise and I was just blown away by their knowledge! They made me feel like a Princess! 💕 Best customer service and formal dress shopping experience that I’ve ever had in my entire life! I am so glad I chose DUGO for wedding apparel. I definitely know I will NOT be wearing the same dress as someone else because they are all unique unlike buying one from a competitor.

I had a great experience shopping at Dugo. Left with something absolutely perfect I would never have chosen for myself thanks to expert advice from Alisa and Nancy. They couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. I’m a mostly online shopper but I am so happy I actually went into a store!.

Wow, the ladies here are so friendly and lovely! I had the nicest experience popping in today when an aqua coat caught my eye. They recommended dresses that really complemented my features and style. What a great boutique with excellent pieces!

Dugo had been recommended to me for a MOB dress for my mom but I had no idea they had so much more! The jewelry selection is impressive- really pretty, great stuff, & lots of it. I found lots of brands I like, like Nicole Miller& Robert Rodriguez. Found stuff I usually only see in Europe like George Gina Lucy handbags. The owner Nancy is the best & they do alterations onsite (!). Definitely recommend to everyone.

Dugo is a good store as in it's one of the ONLY places in MN that you can shop for women's formal ware. They carry brands like Tadashi, Teri Jon and a few more higher end brands. Their selection is somewhere in the middle of adult and more matronly. Their associates are all very nice and friendly.
I came here twice looking for a mother-of-the-bride dress as well as my maid-of-honor.

1st Critique - They only carry 1 or 2 sizes of dresses and if you need a different size they measure you and "special order" it. The problem is that they do not offer returns or exchanges. In today's day where you can guess at your size and order online with free shipping/returns this is just not realistic or competitive.

2nd Critique - We still tried though, that way we could see the dress(es) in person. Found one we liked that was 1 size too big and had to wait several days to find out their "vendor" no longer had it in the right size. Waiting this long to find out if your selection is in stock is not easy to accept.

Last Critique - While it's nice they offer tailoring services...The above mentioned dress: They still tried to sell us the dress saying that we could then get it tailored, at our expense, but that it would need a lot of work to take in. I'm just not sure why or who would even go this route.

So unfortunately I can't justify shopping here unless it's to see a dress in person.

I cannot imagine a better place to shop for modern fashionable clothes to wear for dress up, work or play. The staff is expert in navigating the world of custom formal and cocktail dressing for all ages and sizes. Also offered are premium ready to wear special occasion dress lines. As a one location shop not all styles and sizes are in stock, but the staff are able to order directly from the designers, both custom and ready to wear. Great American and European lines of work and play clothes are also carried. The jewelry and accessories are remarkable. Dugo seems always to be looking for new offerings so you need to come by often to see what is new. Styling and wardrobing assistance are specialties of the experienced and courteous staff. Best results are ensured by giving the staff time for custom special occasion dress searches. However the staff will scramble to accommodate any timeline as best it can. I called with a simple question and the person I spoke with (Donna I believe her name was) was extremely rude to me. Their selection is quite matronly and they hardly carry any sizes. NO RETURNS. They are quick to try and sell you anything, and even more so to have you order a dress in the size that they think will fit you. The sale is what matters not a happy customer. I felt uncomfortable in the shop everytime I went in like they were desperate to sell. Would not recommend.
