Nice place 2 get in and out of. Plenty of free parking. Lots of stock to chose from. Decent, competitive prices. Staff is a bit lackadaisical and snooty. They had decent answers to all my questions. So knowledgeable in at least the refrigerator/freezer area. Doesn't matter how much U spend in there though, delivery is not free. I spent $4000+ on a refrigerator/freezer and still had 2 pay for delivery.

We walked in the door and orderd all of our appliances in 15 minutes. Dalton was helpful with showing us the different models and showed us what he thought would be most useful to us. We scheduled delivery a month out to fit our schedule. The guys showed up on time and was professional installing appliances. They protected our floors and we're careful not scratch anything. There was a small hiccup and our refrigerator was put on the wrong truck. They brought the refrigerator down at the end of the day. Everything was great with install.

Now the best part..... The customer service after the sale! We had a small drip with the dishwasher and they were down the next day to replace the dishwasher. The new dishwasher is showing an error code. They offered to come repair the unit the day we called with the issue. That is great customer service you won't get with a big box store (which we fought with for 2 years over a $2,500 defective Samsung refrigerator).

I recently purchased a washer and dryer out of necessity and normally I go to the big box stores. I decided to try local with Dubuque Appliance and it has been such an awesome experience. Dalton was extremely friendly and helpful. He was able to answer all our questions and was honest with his insight on different brands. He even tried to save me money by looking for any additional rebates. I would more than happy to shop and buy from them again.

Got a $125 bill for a $20 replacement part that took 10 minutes to install on our year and a half old refrigerator. Between the two visits was maybe here a total of 15 minutes. When I called to ask about the bill they said that was their standard labor rate, but that was never communicated in our initial call. If I knew it was going to cost that much I would have ordered the part and replaced it myself! Sure they service what they sell, but it'll cost you!

Great experience buying from them. Washer needed repair 2 years later. OK bad luck. Took 2.5 weeks to get someone over to look at and fix. Guy was at my house for 20 min, get bill for $125 for labor. Absolutely outrageous. So $500 later could have had damn near bought a new machine.

I've never had to buy a brand new washing machine before - so it was all 'new to me'.
The people at Dubuque Appliance made it easy! We checked out all of the models on display and the salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful. We got honest feedback on models we were interested in; and in the end a fancy new washer - it wasn't the cheapest model, nor most expensive and we're impressed with the quality.
They also delivered (new machine) and hauled away (the old broken washer) for only 79 bucks!

I've had maintenance work done by Dubuque Appliance (on an old dryer - not purchased from them) and they repaired it quickly at a very reasonable cost!

I would absolutely recommend this business. If you're looking to purchase from a locally owned family business, that takes care of their customers - look no further - Dubuque Appliance is the place to go!
