Drove from Knoxville to visit Dress Up. Got there at 5:38 and the worker had the door locked and was vacuuming when they don’t close until 6:00. I knocked on the door to ask why they weren’t open and the girl rudely shook her head no. Extremely disappointed 🙁 Don’t have on the door you close at 6:00 if you aren’t going to follow that.

This is my absolute favorite boutique in Nashville, I always make sure to visit when I am in town! The employees are so sweet and so helpful. Lexi always helps me put the cutest outfits together when I pop by. Cant wait to stop by soon!

I was visiting Nashville this weekend and popped by this store for a little shopping. The sales associate was super friendly and helpful, and I found so many cute items to bring back to Florida with me. Next time I’m in Nashville, I’ll definitely stop by. This particular store was DIRTY. The dressing room was gross with dust. When I went to put my clothes back on-black pants, there was dust all over my socks from standing on the floor. I had to sit down and wipe out my pants from the big wad of dust that was stuck inside my pants. I was so grossed out I just left. I love the one in Savannah, and it is normally clean. The staff was nice. So, I gave three stars, but yuck! 🤢

Selection was incredible. Felt like there were many things that I thought I would be interested in purchasing, but was not acknowledged by anyone. I don’t need a babysitter to shop, but it would be nice for someone to acknowledge me and I definitely would have walked out with a wide selection of items.

With such poor and deceptive customer service, Dress Up deserves nothing more than a dressing down. I would recommend people spend their money elsewhere.

I originally purchased a pair of black sandals for $29.99 from Dress Up's 21st location in Nashville, TN. I was told at the register I had to give my name in order for the shoes to be returnable. I gave my name because I wasn't sure they would suit my needs. It seemed excessive and unnecessarily invasive, but not too unreasonable.

However, when I tried to return the shoes (unworn, tags attached, and with receipt), I was told I could only exchange the shoes or get store credit. This was frustrating, but I chose the giftcard. Then, as if this wasn't hassle enough, I was refunded a sale price - $19.99 - not what I had originally paid for the shoes. The clerk at the counter did not tell me this though, and I only noticed this looking at the return receipt.

If you want good service and cute clothes, spend your money at any one of the other shops lining 21st in this area. Dress Up is not worth the hassle.

Update on 4 Aug 2018: I was told to come in and a manager would be in to help resolve this issues. I arrived and there was no manager available. The clerk said there was nothing she could do and that even though I purchased a full price item, she could only give me the return price. So far I'm out $10 and about an extra hour of time between phone calls and in-store visits. Ridiculous, considering all I want is a simple refund. At this point, I don't even care if its in-store credit.
