I bought a stuffed animal last week for $10 at this store for my moms new puppy. Well when I checked out they told me that the receipt printer wasn’t working. My mom ended up having to return the stuffed animal. She went to return it with the tag and everything, but without the receipt because the printer was “not working”. They wouldn’t accept it. She told them the receipt printer had not been working and the cashier didn’t give her a receipt. They told her that was not the case & that they always give the receipts to customers Incase they have to return.
Long story short I will not be purchasing anything else at this store.

Mebane NC Dollar General stinks. Came by with a 5 year old and 7 year old. The two kiddos were energetic and excited. They accidentally knocked something off a rack, a older lady with glasses (customer)standing nearby called me an idiot and told me to learn to control them. Then an employee, also an older lady, joined in with the customer and told me I must not be a good dad if I can’t control them. Hearing this, the two kids get upset. 5 year old starts crying. The customer hollers “shut her up, Jesus Christ!” The employee then goes, “Yeah, shut her up!” We left without making a purchase.

My favorite dollar general always open unless running short staffed and that is because management is expected to work free hours just to please the higher up ppl. I know because I use to work in management and until things change it will continue to be this way. I absolutely don’t blame any of the employees for not wanting to kill themselves for a corporation! Keep it up Stephanie and team. Y’all are all extremely lovely to deal with!

This DG needs new management... this store is always a mess and never open. Just walked there and a note was on the door stating they were closed due to work truck? There was no truck in site.. Do better DG!!!

There's a huge hole in the parking spot in front of the doors. When it rains it fills up so it's not visible. Lawsuit waiting to happen when someone twists or breaks their ankle...or worse. I only saw one person with no store clothing on in the back. No one tending the cash registers. They don't allow cash. The place is a complete mess.

The gentleman running the register was very rude and obnoxious. He didn't care what was on sale and just kept ringing my stuff up when I had some questions because nothing had prices on it. I showed him where the process were and he swore it was in the wrong spot but everything matched except the price was off by a dollar. He kept saying with me until I asked for the manager. Very uncool this is my regular store and I never want to go back!!!
