I really enjoyed this beautiful nature center, I'm very grateful the Dickinson county nature center allowed me to get married here as well! It was snowing outside but it was still amazing to see! I highly recommend coming here it's great and the staff are as well.

Went by with some friends that are local and it’s a great place to get outdoors. Huge disc golf course. Fun inside environments for the kids.

I visited the Nature Center on the last half of my 1st graders field trip & it was a great time! The staff is especially delightful, they are skilled at creating a fun educational environment. My 7yo was able to teach me the animals & habitats he had learned about in the first half of the trip. (The osprey was his favorite, he likes that they collect random junk & add it to their nest. 😂) The facilities are up-to-date and although I only saw a small part overall, the grounds are quite beautiful. There is an amazing outdoor playground area that the kids loved, an indoor beehive play area, trails, disc golf and exhibits. I didn't see an area for food service, but there are tons of options within a couple miles. I will definitely be back with my other kiddos!

Such a cool place and it's all by donation! Fun for everyone but especially with little kids - almost like a nature themed children's museum in several areas. The Pollinator Paradise room is our two year old's favorite, especially the food truck and pollen shooter! Don't miss the live animals and play area downstairs too! The natural playground and trails outside are lovely as well, and they offer various programs for children and adults of all ages. Definitely a favorite of ours in the Lakes area!

All the fun was had by my one year old granddaughter and the other 20 kids collecting "pollen" to feed the flowers. Great science stop for adults, too. I'm sure you'll discover something new. Need a quiet place? Head to the basement to view the live animals. Make sure you view the active osprey nest outside. Great bike trail stop, as well. Free!

I generally like to stay away from all the "hustle and bustle" of the immediate Lakes region, but this is a nice little "getaway". The building itself is informative with plenty of exhibits. The grounds have some trails and a pond with a resident osprey couple.

What a great facility and experience for our kids! They started outdoors in ther adventure center playing on a natural eclectic playground. Then we went inside to the real gem! They loved it all but especially the pollinators exhibit!!

A fantastic place to go and to take your kids! Educational and fun. Both indoor and outdoor play places. Beautiful grounds with walking paths, as well.
