Me and my father came in Christmas Eve because my father was in severe hip pain. He was an accident back in June which led to a partial hip replacement and a leg amputation. My father came in there, crying in pain. We got there at 2 PM They got us back to a room by three, which was awesome. But no one ever even came and checked on my dad till 5 PM. He never got anything for pain. When we went to do x-rays to x-ray tech(male, 200+ lbs)
Barely helped me (I’m a 175lb 23yr old woman) Lift my dad that was in exhilarating pain onto the really tall x-ray table. The doctor finally came in at 6 PM and told us he doesn’t see anything on the x-rays. Just inflammation And sent my dad home with a pain shot and one pain pill in his wallet because all Pharmacies were closed. My dad was taken to Bay Medical in Panama City today and was told Partial hip replacement hardware was ripped out of the socket. How Dr. Crawford at Dale medical Did not see this is beyond me. I’m extremely frustrated with this hospital right now and will be Filing a formal complaint

To start my visit I went into the main entrance I was quickly met with help and great directions to the emergency department. I was quickly taken to the back with friendly care. They checked on me often. I had the flu so I had an awful headache they made sure I had water, medicine, if I wanted the chair up, or the lights off for my headache. The two nurses (one male and one female) were so attentive! And the doctor Nickolas bass was a straight shooter and explained everything well. The reviews/ratings may be bad but I couldn’t ask for better!

TO DALE MEDICAL: If you would like to discuss the situation, please send me an email in which we can discuss.

Just got the itemized bill for my grandfather's hospitalization from 2023 (I'm his executrix and am settling his debts/estate). Did you know that getting your pulse/oxygen checked is 50 dollars?! And did you know it's 14.99 for a blood pressure cuff to be used on you. And don't forget, your mandatory covid test for 30 dollars.

These folks nickled and dimed every tiny thing until the point the bill ballooned to 35k. My grandfather had no debt, just medical. Two separate ER visits where they released him in a day came out to be 35k. I could see 15-20k (not really though, because why are we paying this much to simply stay alive).

My grandfather shouldn't have even been signing any agreements without some sort of representative there with him as he had DOCUMENTED memory issues that impacted his day to day life. He didn't even remember GOING to the hospital, much less why he was getting bills from them. And since no one at the hospital contacted me, I wasn't able to offer support and make sure that the proper financial support was in place (I was listed as his medical power of attorney).

And I just have to suck it up, sell everything left of his when he passed, and pay the bill. So that's what I did. There is nothing left of him. I couldn't even sell the house to my own family because no one could afford to buy it. And selling it was the only way we were going to be able to pay off his debts. It's insane to me that we're losing all of him from MEDICAL debt. Not irresponsibility or financial carelessness, but because insurance and medical facilities are a racket.

I’ve never in my life experienced worse treatment or”care” from a “Dr”, I went into night with high fever of 102.0 and newly pregnant with strep throat, body aches and pains. I was offered a cough drop. When I declined I was told there was nothing else for them to do and I needed to sign a form stating I refused treatment. This place is a JOKE.

The ER and their staff was great, but it doesn't outweigh the severity of blatant disregard of concerns and feelings from patients and their guests. When we asked basic questions such as, "why am I here?" we were constantly told, "let me ask and call you back". We were told the doctor had went home when we asked to speak to him, but that was closely followed by another nurse telling us that he was in the ICU. We were also told that he needed to stay longer because of covid medications and steroids that were being administered, yet he hasn't been hooked to anything other than 9% NACL for 4.5 hours now. We were told that he needed to have antibiotics but the nurse didn't correctly hook up the IV so he wasn't receiving any the entire time. When we expressed our concerns to someone in charge, we were told that what we were told by one of the nurses was incorrect because she would've never said that and it was a misunderstanding on the patients' part. They refused to entertain any idea of being transferred to another hospital because "no one else would take him" but we were never told why another hospital would refuse to help. Along with other things, this has been a horrid experience altogether and we will be preemptively asking to go to a different hospital for any and all emergencies.
