We came from New York to do some prom dress shopping and found this amazing store. We didn’t know we needed an appointment but they were very accommodating and fit us in within a few minutes. Our assistant Heaven helped out tremendously and listened to all thoughts, likes and dislikes. We loved the place and found the perfect dress!

THE BEST EXPERIENCE!! Five stars in all aspects… the ease of making an appointment, the communication ahead of time, the greeting when we walked in, the experienced stylists, the dress selections and of course the moment my daughter said yes to her dress!!! DO NOT waste your time if you are higher than a size 8. Worst experience ever with dress shopping. The staff was very rude, and I felt judged immediately as I walked in. Not welcoming or friendly. I am a size 18 and there was absolutely no dresses in my size. They gave me a size below and kept getting rude when I wasn’t happy with the dresses they gave me. They also would make judgey faces and quiet remarks when I’d go back in the dressing room. This place definitely caters to sizes 00 - 4. Everyone else was getting great service but when I walked in I was treated very unfairly and judged right when I walked in. Them knowing there wasn’t dresses in my size so there was apparently no reason to be professional and even kind. As a 18 year old girl who struggles with feeling comfortable in her own skin, and feeling “fat”. This place definitely made it worse with their lack of size range and lack of kindness. I checked into my appointment at 2:45pm and I did not even get asked if I needed help until 3:30. Big waste of time and the most unprofessional, unorganized dress place I’ve ever been to.

Cecile Boutique was a prayer answered! When the useless boutiques in my area did not offer prom gowns, Cecile Boutique was recommended. My daughter found the absolutely perfect dress for her prom! Their selection is expansive and unique. The staff is so helpful and made my daughter feel beautiful as she tried on each dress. I love the “stage” area with the trifold mirrors so you can really get a good look. Their prices were reasonable and they offered several options for alterations. (I ended up using DO Creatively, which was amazing!) Thank you Cecile Boutique!

Yesterday I was able to take a client of mine who is competing for Miss Delaware America evening gown shopping. I knew this was the boutique to get the best of the best I myself have gotten my winning gowns from here. They process of making an appointment was so easy online. Upon arriving they knew our names and had gowns ready. Shana Zack and Layla really know their stuff. They were kind, all have an impressive and talented eye for style. I sat back and watched them all help ladies come in that were prom shopping. They made them feel like 1 in a million including their parents that they brought along. They took the time with not only us but other customers to be sure they were going to look like a 10. I can tell you the 7 ladies I saw leaving looked more than a 10. They were confident and overwhelmed with joy. Their attention to detail and compassion was superb. I will not send any of my clients or prom shoppers to any other place. I must add it is so clean and cute in there! Thank you again to your team for being “The Best of The Best”

I purchased a dress on a live sale; a fitted gown with a detachable over skirt. the fitted gown was displayed, but not the over skirt. There was no mention to damage to the dress. When it arrived. there was a little damage to the beading on the fitted dress. but the over skirt had a whole in it, with a burn mark as large as my hand. when I reached out to the store about it they claimed that they were "unaware" and I should repair/ essentially replace the overskirt, since I got a good deal on the dress. (the burn is right in the middle and it's silk/ satin. so you would have to replace the whole panel of fabric)how do you miss damage that large? she also reminded me that all dresses were sold as is. I would have never have purchased this dress, had I known. I won't be doing business with them again.
