I went there to buy my great-granddaughter a Stetson hat. Her birthday is just days away, I didn't want to chance ordering one. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a variety of western themed items. My young cow girl is days from 11. She has been taking riding lessons for about 2 years, saving her money to buy a horse. She just recently adopted /bought a BLM horse, her riding instructor told her about. I couldn't stop at buying the hat I knew she wanted a belt . They have some beautiful belts and buckles, of course the one I liked cost more. Then there was a necklace and earrings with horse shoes. I left with more than I was planning on buying, but she loves her horse. The staff at Cavenders couldn't have been nicer, and the smile on our cowgirl was priceless.

Was in town for business. Visited the store and I must say. What an inventory to select from. The staff working that night was extremely helpful and tentative to all the customers. Picked up another set of boots and couldn't been happier.

first of all this is not in hoover, it’s at the butt end of 280. i don’t care if it’s zoned hoover it’s not. secondly i called ahead to see if they could reshape one of my cowboy hats and the guy on the phone was so nice and said they could definitely do it. fast forward i live 30-40 minutes from this location and drove down today and was immediately told they probably couldn’t fix my hat after i had already called and told them what the issue was and they told me it would be no problem over the phone. i told the guy at the register could they at least look at it and see. he said sure and sent me to the part of the store where the hats are. i waited 30 minutes at the counter only for no one to even come by or check on me and no one showed up. since i needed the hat fixed within a few days i finally just picked up a new one and went back to the original counter to check out. the kid, yes i say kid because no one working at this store was over 19, asked me if anyone had helped me today and said no absolutely not and then asked if they had anyone working in the hat section. he replied that there should be a shaper/repair guy there to which i stated that i had been standing over in that section for 30+ minutes with no help at all. he blankly stared at me and didn’t say anything. i would not recommend this location at all. after driving 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back home 70 dollars out of pocket i’m actually livid. horrible service, and completely understaffed. as someone who currently works in the service industry myself i was extremely disappointed with the level of care. especially because most things sold in this store are well over 50-100 dollars.

Great service here. Dillion did a great job. The only thing I didn't like was I purchased my son a pair of Ariat boots, and for some reason, none of their boots come with the Ariat boxes.
