My boys and I came from out of state to come pick up MY early Christmas present. Not only was this my first experience with a BAB store, but it was also my boys' first experience. And boy, what an experience it was! The staff is incredible! Especially Margo! She went above and beyond for not only me but my boys as well. She is truly a good soul and made our experience one we will never forget!

This Build A Bear location is the best. My granddaughter made a character this morning. We realized it needed more stuffing. When we went back this evening they gladly and willingly added stuffing and redressed the character. The employee was so very nice and friendly. If you're in the area with children, they will enjoy the experience here. We sure did!

Visited this location 20 minutes before closing last night and had an amazing experience. Despite it being so close to closing, all of the staff were extremely patient and kind with our 5-year-old autistic son, particularly Margo! She noticed how much he was loving the giant bear in the front of the store and let me know about similar ones we could get him online. We had such a fun time and can’t wait to come back when we’re in town again!

Had a great time at this location on Saturday. We live on Mobile and go to the Spanish Fort location often. We had a girls day for my 4 year old and build a bear was a must. I love the set up of this location and the employees were great. We will be back.

10/10 recommend this Build-A-Bear location! The staff was not only friendly, but also willing to help my indecisive child pick out the perfect outfit for Hello Kitty. She made the comment “I don’t know what will match her bow” and in no time the sweet lady working there had 6 different outfits on the table for my daughter to choose from. If you are looking to take your little one to adopt the perfect stuffy this is the place for you!

Looking through some of the most recent reviews, it sounds like there is an ongoing problem with a rude employee. We went into this build a bear location and started looking to pick out a bear when we were told in an aggressive manner to not pick up any of the bears that were not stuffed because this would cause the worker to have to fold them back up. We may have picked up and looked at 3 or 4 as we were making our way around and folded them back like they were before putting them down. By time we were leaving (2:30pm), there was not an employee left inside the store. The worker that was rude was around back in the parking garage sitting in her car. Like others have said in reviews, a build a bear is not a good place for upset/rude employees to work. Would not recommend bringing your child to this build a bear.
