This place is amazing!

TAKE YOUR TIME LOOKING AROUND! There's stuff crammed into every nook and cranny.

All sorts of vintage toys, games, & video games and not not-so vintage toys, games, & video games.

It's cool to look around and see everything.

However, the pricing on everything is A LOT more than what you can find the same item on eBay for, even with shipping.

Definitely compare prices on eBay when shopping here.

Great store, but it's overpriced... only 4 stars.

Generally good, some of the cashiers are kinda weird but it has a good vibe. Lots of old stuff, 70s?-2000s. Lots of things for collectors and for kids who want to play older consoles like the Wii, game cube, or Sega Genesis. You might a better deal on a market place but this is a great shop and it's fun to walk through with all the nerdy things everywhere.

This store is incredible! So much eye candy. Great for collectors or unique gifts for people of all ages. The prices seem very fair and great supporting a locally owned business. The main guy working the front (maybe the owner) is super helpful if you need help finding something or ideas. I was able to find Wizard of Oz accessories for my Halloween costume, including a stuffed dog I used as Todo, Tin Man music box and pop up book. My nephew loves Hot Wheels and Lego cars-great selection! I’ve always paid, but there is a Buy Sell Trade option, which is cool! You can park in the Old Capital parking ramp and it’s right there, so very convenient!

It had been awhile since I'd stopped by the store and I found the storefront had shifted to Bartertown Toys and Collectibles.

Excellent change in business model to sell rare collectibles. Definitely worth a stop by if you're in the Old Capitol Town Center. They both buy and sell rare collectibles in a wide range of (mostly geek-friendly) wares. For finding a rare gift to impress your friends and family, this is an outright destination.

The proprietor was quite friendly and allowed me to open my used board game to verify that all of the pieces were included.

You really do owe yourself a visit!

I think people are really not understanding that this store sells collectibles AND RARE FINDS. So of course some things are gonna be a little pricey but it’s not outrageous for what the items are worth. A simple eBay search would show that. There’s also other stuff that’s cool that is priced lower if that’s more in your budget! You definitely can’t go out and find these toys everywhere. Trust me, you’ll be impressed.
