I searched "plus size prom dresses" bc I didn't want to go to a David's bridal or the mall. I happened upon this dress shop. I am blown away by the dresses, styles, service, dressing area and quality! My daughter is about a 16 or 18. They had so many dresses for her to xlchoose from AND if she wanted to order one, they would have it within a week. The service was incredible. She had so many styles to choose from. They even gave us names of seamstresses. I just had such a positive experience, I almost don't want to write this review bc I want to keep this little secret to myself ❤.

First time shopper here for my daughters homecoming. We wanted to find a dress that wasn’t from a big box store and more unique. This store had so many options and loved that it was geared toward high school age fashion. We had a private room with excellent service. The assistant suggested a dress my daughter hadn’t seen and it ended up being the dress. Prices are more than the mall but you get what you pay for. Staff were so friendly and gave great honest advice. Will definitely be back again!

I Google plus size prom dresses bc my daughter decided to go to prom very last minute. I wanted to steer clear of a David's type of place but wanted a boutique that carried a big selection with an array of sizes. I am happy to tell you I found exactly what I was looking for and more!

The dresses were all unique and stylish, varying sizes, simple to extravagant. The store is VERY clean and the dressing area is private. Sarah helped us personally, clipped everything where necessary. My daughter not only got a beautiful dress but the whole experience was amazing. We had such a great time and I'm forever thankful!

I would recommend this boutique even though I'd love to keep this little gem to myself. They'll take care of you.

this place is the absolute best! I am plus sized (24/26) and HATED prom shopping last year at peaches I really feel like I didn't have any options at one of the biggest prom stores and found my self disappointed with the dress I picked. this place is very close to my grandmas and I was cautious with a smaller store but we decided to give it a try. my expectations were blown AWAYY! they had a great plus size section with multiple dresses that were actual cute and fit me well. the place was very clean and cute and I didn't feel rushed at all and I was encouraged to take photos! the attendant was the owner of the store and she was very nice and HONEST which I really value. she had me try on a dress I never would have took off the rack myself and I ADORED ITT! I never would have expected as a plus size girl to find a dress at a smaller boutique! I am sooo happy with my dress and so glad I shopped here!

ASK was amazing every step of the way with my daughters prom. From the moment we walked through the door the staff was so kind, helpful, yet not overbearing. They have a beautiful selection of dresses in all different colors and designs. Our custom ordered dress arrived quickly. We used their in house seamstress who was also AMAZING & so fast with her turnaround time! We will definitely be returning to ASK for future dress needs!

Apparently the store has a policy that supports body shaming customers.

My daughter, who is 5'5" and less than 110lbs, was told she could not try on a dress for prom because she was too large for the dress. Whoever was assisting my daughter then made a negative remark about my daughter's physique.

My daughter called my wife devastated and in tears. My wife, surprised to hear that a local businesses would treat a customer so poorly, called the shop. My wife spoke to whomever shamed my daughter and that person confirmed what my daughter reported and acknowledged that "they don't let people try on dresses they deem to small".

So I would steer clear of this place unless you want to be judged and offended.

AMAZING customer service! Great selection of styles and sizes of prom dresses. Prices are comparable to other stores in the area. Make this your daughters first stop for her prom dress, you will thank me later!

I wish we would have found this shop sooner! After my niece had a horrible experience at Peaches, I took a shot heading out to ASK as they had some of the designers she was looking for (and featured plus size models). The ladies at ASK were like night & day! They were amazingly patient with my niece (who was overwhelmed and feeling down). Brought her all kinds of dresses, told her how beautiful she looked and stayed with us late (you are truely angels!). After regrouping, my neice, her parents & my husband went back today to try on her top 3. Again, these ladies were amazingly patient & supportive. My neice said yes to her favorite (a suggestion by one of the ladies) today! Thank you for making this such a wonderful experience!
