Not that it was a bad place. But I needed a refrigerator for a couple few hundred, if I was going to pay for a NEW one I would have bought it online and had it DELIVERED.

Don't get me wrong they had nice refrigerators there but for the price of them it's real close to New and then you only have a get a 30-day or 90 day warranty.

Also 85 and up to deliver. If I spent hundreds I expect delivery to be included.

Came in to buy a washer and dryer set that I had my eyes on. The owner was very honest and polite and directed me to a cheaper set that would last a lot longer. These people clearly care more about their customers than the money that you have. Christy could have sold me the set that I wanted but she informed that I would be more happy for the GE set instead of the Maytag set. You can’t even hear the washer wash which I love so much! I will for sure be getting my kitchen appliances remodeled from ace appliance! I will recommend ace to anyone!

At one point, I would have recommended them to everyone, but not any longer. I have purchased a Fridge, Washer, Dryer, and Stove from Ace over the last couple years. The only one that has not required multipe repairs costing 100s of dollars has been the stove. I understand they are used applicances, so this is the risk you take when trying to save vs. the cost of new. The selling point was the discounted labor rate and cost of parts for any repairs. However, my refrigerator just failed again with an issue that was just repaired a few months ago. Ace has decided that they no longer service Lucedale, which they did when I bought all the appliances, so they will not come to repair it.

The solution offered by the owner was to carry the refrigerator down from the second floor, bring it to them to repair, and then carry it back up from the second floor. At this point, all the food in the refrigerator has spoiled.

I understand the change in the coverage area for any new customers, but for those of us that purchased when Lucedale was covered and have been good customers, the coverage should remain intact.

Unless this is changed quickly, I would not recommend them to anyone. While they are super nice people, if this is how they treat their customers, then they are not the people or company with whom I ordingally chose to do business.

It is very unfortunate and disappointing -- better to go somewhere else or buy new. SHAME on you ACE.
